Lambert (p. 34) states that leadership coaching is when "questions are meant to expand the respondent's focus from being a reflective practitioner to being a leader."
Real World Situation: A teacher is chosen to be the advisor of a student organization. The organization focuses on the Latino culture. The students would like to share the Latino culture with students in the school. They have many deas but need help getting organized. The advisor begin to ask them questions to figure out what ideas are important for them to get across to other students. The organization narrows it's focus down to wanting to share the rich Latino history in the United States. With the help of the teacher advisor, they begin to plan events which highlight specific events in history that they feel are important for other students to understand.
